I actually enjoyed researching different teacher websites. It was nice to see ideas that other teachers have and how they go about their days in the classroom.
The first website I visited was Cachey Mama's World of Learning

The author of the blog is a Headstart teacher of children 3-5 years old. She talks about her daily activities and posts pictures showing the excitement going on in her classroom. On the right hand side of her page she has different topics listed. You can click on a topic (for example classroom organization) and it will take you to a post she has made all about this topic. I enjoyed her classroom organization post because she put up before and after pictures of her classroom and it was neat to see what she came up with. Further down on the right hand side are also Teacher Resources. I particularly liked the A-Z Teacher Stuff link because it brought me to a site with lesson plans, ideas, pictures, and links to other blogs that can be helpful to any teacher.
The second blog I read was Teaching My Munchkins

This is authored by a woman who teachers preschool in a private school. Her blog is set up similarly to the previous one, but she includes a lot of her own lesson plan ideas on the left hand side. You can click a topic and it takes you to her post that details her lesson and how her students did with the lesson. She also includes a lot of pictures of her classroom and the different activities and centers that the students participate in. On the right hand side she has links to other teachers that blog and she also has teacher resource links.
The third website I researched is Mrs. Nelson's Class

Mrs. Nelson is a Kindergarten teacher and this is her class website. The website is broken into 3 parts. The first section is a brief introduction to the teacher herself and a little bit of information on her teaching experience. The second part is Teacher Resources. This page has quite a few links for teachers to explore on many different topics. Two topics that stood out to me were Family Involvement and Classroom Management. In each category she provides additional links to professional resources and information. The classroom management was particularly interesting because she not only provided links, but she also described her methods and reasoning in great detail. The third section of her site is her classroom site. She includes the daily schedule, supply list, and curriculum map so that any can be accessed at any time. At the bottom of each page she also provides links for kids to check out (games) and parent information links (school website, scholastic website, etc).
The final website I visited was Mrs. Stamp's Kindergarten

This website is awesome! It is visually appealing and you can tell that the teacher puts in a lot of time to maintain it and provide the most information in the most effective way. Her site is broken up into 11 parts. The fist is "Now Showing" and it takes you to flyers and information for parents such as scholastic book orders, spirit wear information and PTA information. "Kids Camp" takes you to a page full of learning links for different subjects. "Zoom Into Our Classroom" takes you to a page with classroom information including a schedule, supply list, homework and awards. I could spend a great deal of time talking about each section, but I am not going to do that because I think that you should check out the site for yourself. I really feel that it is a GREAT example of an awesome class site and I plan on modeling my future site off of this! It really is great.
So, there you have it! There are 4 teacher websites that have a ton of great information in each and provide some great ideas and words of wisdom from fellow teachers trying to change the world one class at a time :)
